Spotlight on Africa-based achievers – Aderonke Adeyegbe
Award-winning C-suite veteran turned entrepreneur Aderonke Adeyegbe has over three decades of experience in business strategy, business development, client services and marketing, gained with the likes of British Telecommunications Plc in the UK, Panasonic and Swiss Airlines.
As well as her extensive professional CV, Aderonke continues to make impactful contributions to the business, technology, and non-profit sectors as a mentor, empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
In 2025, Aderonke was awarded Tech Champion for Education Africa by the CI0 Club of Africa and named one of the First Top 50 Women in Cybersecurity in 2021, as well as receiving a University of Lagos commendation in the same year, for her work on youth empowerment programmes. She is a past president of Zonta International, a global organisation empowering women and girls through service and advocacy and has also volunteered at the Dundee International Women's Center in Scotland, UK.
Aderonke began her higher education at the University of Ibadan where she read English, before gaining a Master's degree in Marketing Communications from Pan Atlantic University. She is a fellow of the Institute of Information Management.
